i also taught myself how to swim growing up haha, when i was younger i had a one piece swimsuit with floaties built in and i always took it off and went swimming 😂

Yess I totally agree I grew up with a pool in my backyard, still do, and my family taught me how to swim when I was a baby I remember at 5 jumping off of rocks in the lake with no Floaties My nephew who is nonverbal and has autism is 5 and just learned how to swim without floaties this year because we’ve had him in the pool every year since he was abt 5 months old 🥰

My daughter was the same! She’s 13 now and is a mermaid! I’m grateful we had access to a pool every single summer and she just learned on her own! People always ask if she went to classes and I’m like noooo! Just was a water baby!
