this happened to my son around 10 years old at his psychiatric appointment. He git sent away for a week. Turned out to be a blessing because they sent him to a emergency childrens psychiatric center and pushed him to the top of the list for the waiver. Puberty is the hardest my guy. My son is 21 now and chill with proper medication to help the symptoms of agitation and anxiety that comes with severe autism. It sucks going through it but it does get better. Hold on strong.

I think you did a good job with recording because you never know how far something will go but I also believe these officers handled this situation great. They were nice and spoke to your son in a calm voice and no quick moments. We can handle situations like this without negative outcomes. As a parent to an autistic non verbal son.
