Time is the fourth dimension, but it is not the fourth SPACIAL dimension. These are not the same thing. To make it easier to understand, let’s say there existed 2D beings, basically flat people. For them, the THIRD dimension would be time. We are one SPACIAL dimension above them. Thus a fourth spacial dimension ≠ Time.

humans couldn't comprehend what the 4th dimension is because we have no context of what directions we are missing 1st dimension - left and right 2nd dimension - up and down 3rd dimension - back and forth we don't have a 4th direction we could travel, we do travel through time. we travel forwards through time constantly

I think it's pointless to think about any physical dimensions outside of three. The simplest reason being it is extremely hard to grasp its concept. Even "lower" dimensional constructs. . We love to say "2D is a line, 1D is a dot," but no one can even make sense of those statements. . The other reason being, its uselessness to us. Other dimensional constructs (whether they exist or not) cannot interact with each other. Just like how we can't interact with 2D constructs, no 4D constructs can possibly interact with us. What we consider 2D is just a representation using 3D materials (usually ink, or pixels).

There are also some issues with calling time the 4th dimension. For example, you cannot move back in time, but you can freely move in the other 3 dimensions. Its so different from the rest, we have 3 actual directions, then just fucking time. . Time is also the 3rd dimension. Like, in a theoretical 2D world, wouldnt time ALSO exist? It would be the 3rd dimension. But we already have a 3rd dimension, its depth. This is why its so frustrating when mfs yap about "oooh, time is the 4th dimension" whenever someone mention 4D.
