As an Iraqi I’m so proud of our team they have come very far with how little opportunity that they have gotten.

Thank you for mentioning that; as an Iraqi, I truly appreciate it. We are very proud of our national team, even though they did not win. Many people may not realize that our players have faced significant challenges and have not always received the support they deserve. Unfortunately, resources are often directed elsewhere rather than toward the development of sports. Despite these difficulties, our team has continued to persevere and compete with determination. They come from a country that has endured years of conflict and hardship, which makes their achievements even more meaningful. We are proud of their effort, resilience, and dedication to representing Iraq on the international stage.

The guy who predicted the winners of the last 3 world cups said he heavily bases his predictions on how much money the country invests into the infrastructure and development of the sport.

To be clear NONE OF THIS is against Halland. He seems fine, it’s some of his fans that clearly have lost the plot

Haaland grew up in a small town and went to public school and also played on the communal youth team. He did not go to any private school.

It’s great that you’re talking about Hussein, how talented he is, and the adversities he’s overcome to be where he is today, but what you’re saying about Haaland gives people an inaccurate impression. He attended publicly funded schools in Norway. That in and of itself is a privilige because of the resources he had access to, but saying he went to private school is both factually incorrect and gives the impression that he grew up in extreme wealth and opulence, which isn’t true. Second, it’s a stretch to say Norway has one of the best teams on earth when they’re 31st in the FIFA ranking. I get that emphasizing Haaland’s privilege creates a contrast between him and Hussein, which makes Hussein’s achievements sound more impressive by comparison, but Hussein’s story is already impressive enough on its own.
