Personally I think him finding their profiles and seeing what human life is actually meant to be makes total sense for giving him an understanding of why they hate the way he was handling the adventures. The thing that bugs me and I don't really understand is how he got that random wi-fi signal and why it was lost.

I was hoping it would be like the Evangelion ending where there was no grand conclusion or battle but a in depth analysis of each character and why they are the way they are maybe everyone claps for pomni and says “good job you did it” cane gets in a giant mech

I love the dichotomy of the fans finding any excuse to have the ending make sense vs so many obvious issues with the pacing and storytelling of this show. its actually not even bad, but the ending really feels like this was not thought through at all
