It’s much deeper than, “we had tvs and video games”, the level of instant gratification has gotten so high that children honestly do not know how to find joy in playing with toys. Videos provide absolutely no thinking and so much joy or excitement. It truly is sad, children’s imagination are dwindling away. I’m not anti technology I will add, I think it all needs to be done in moderation and close supervision.

As a mom the movie speaks more on why does an 8 yr old have access to the internet? Not so much the tablet but all the messaging and no monitoring?!

Which is why my children will NEVER have screens. They will get a flip phone for emergencies when they are in middle school, they can have a cheap iPhone in highschool ONLY if they get a job to help pay for it. After a year, they can afford it from their job, they can upgrade all they want.
