@sustainable_homestead: People ask how we integrate animals into a small garden system, so here's exactly how. This is our rabbit tractor.      Every day we grab the handles, lift, and drag it forward a few feet. The bottom has wood slats instead of solid ground or wire, so the rabbit's feet never get caught while it's grazing. He eats the grass underneath, and when we move the tractor, he leaves manure behind, which we chop and drop right into that spot.      Here's the part I really like: our garden is laid out so rain naturally leaches that fertilization downhill into the pathway and from there into the bed. We're slowing the water, spreading it out, and sinking it into the soil, all while it's carrying nutrients with it. That's stacking functions in action, one system doing several jobs at once.      And he already knows the routine. The second we move this thing, he's straight into the new grass.      Comment FARMER if you want to learn how to build systems like this.      #rabbittractor #animalintegration #stackingfunctions #freefertilizer #regenerativesystems #homestead #DIY #gardening
