@lifeinlaps: He ignored the sandwiches and hot dogs and kept stealing pieces of ice… 🧊🦝 When I followed him toward the dunes, I discovered another young raccoon collapsed from the extreme heat. He had been carrying the ice to his friend, trying to cool him down the only way he could. We brought him into the shade, placed some water in front of him and waited. Slowly, he began to drink, regain his strength and stand again.
