It’s wild to me how good customer service is associated with smiles or chitchat. Personally as long as my server get my order right or doesn’t act rude, I consider it top tier service. Who care if they are smiling or cracking jokes? Their job is to take your order and bring your food, not act as if they are your friends…

This Father’s Day was also my first one without my dad and i was a mess inside. I totally understand the barely holding it together. Luckily my boss is amazing because he gave me the day off to spend it with family.
