Go to the dentist anyways I reckon. If you have to pay the $100 either way , they can also just check that there is no dental pathology / source of infection (especially since you need a filling on that side).

it takes a while for them to work! but definitely take rest from the gym. let your body use that energy to fight the infection.

this happened to me last year but it was further down my face, ended up being a salivary gland infection. Just had to take antibiotics, eat sour foods to create saliva to drain it out and basically cry all day

mine did the same!! ended up having gingivitis in my gym near my wisdom tooth, face was HUGE!! Dentist gave my gum a good clean, went down within 2 days! I was offered antibiotics but cleaning went best 🤍🤍 so please go to the dentist!!

I had something really similar happen from what started as a pimple on my face. The antibiotics I was prescribed weren’t working, it kept growing, and it became incredibly painful. I ended up in ED and found out it was MRSA. I’ve had multiple abscesses over the past few months, and every swab has come back positive for MRSA, which is resistant to a lot of common antibiotics, so it might be worth checking whether the antibiotics you’re on are the right ones for the infection. They ended up draining the abscess on my face, and I’ve also had a few under my armpit that turned out to be the same thing. If you can, try to get a doctor to swab it, because MRSA can be really difficult to get rid of. Mine actually started after an infected spider bite back in March, but nobody told me the swab results until I ended up back in hospital with recurring painful abscesses. My face looked very similar to yours at one point. Hopefully you get some answers soon and can get on the right treatment to clear it up 😭🥰
