@pashtunpal: Afghan Rule in India: Sultan Sikandar Lodi was a powerful Afghan ruler who successfully governed the Delhi Sultanate in India from 1489 to 1517. Foundation of Agra: He founded the city of Agra in 1504 and made it his new capital. Conquests: As an excellent military commander, he expanded the empire by conquering Jaunpur, Bihar, and Gwalior. Gaj-i-Sikandari: To improve administration and land measurement, he introduced a new standard scale called "Gaj-i-Sikandari". Literature and Knowledge: He was a patron of knowledge and arts, and personally composed Persian poetry under the pen name "Gul Rukh".
