@fieldsolver: Here we use the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation to model the spontaneous formation of an spin glass of quantum vortices. Multiple localized vortices arise from the background noise, moving around until they lock into an irregular lattice: a glass. Small defects smooth out by pair annihilation until the glass completely freezes due to vortex-vortex repulsion. The domain is a periodic square of size 400x400 and we have used timestep dt=2.5e-2 for integration.
