@evelyn.garces_: Emerson is a dog that’s really gonna need our help😞 He’s a senior dog with lumps and bumps and scars all over his body. Life hasn’t been too kind to him. No matter how much he’s been through, he’s an incredibly kind dog. He’s gentle, calm, patient, affectionate, smart, he’s got all the things. And I mean this in the best way possible, but I’m not surprised he’s still here. Dogs like Emerson don’t get their second chances very often. Emerson has a tough-looking exterior. He’s a dog that not many people would take a chance on simply based on looks. I literally almost cried when he laid in my lap because how is it possible that a dog that has been disregarded by humans can still have so much love and trust towards them? The shelter is overcapacity and unfortunately, decisions have to be made based on length of stay. Emerson needs someone to finally choose him, and soon.
