I honestly thought that by 2 years in and having every minute I’m not at my 9 to 5 consumed with researching and making videos would mean I would be making at least $1000 a month. :(.

So true. I’m a retired software engineer and my job was always having to keep up up with the latest technologies, always building the next feature or product or integrating some new technology. My mindset is already there. For me the challenge was that I was going harder and harder when the platform didn’t support it. I recently stepped back and decided to regroup and take a little breath (due to your advice) and I feel so much better. Back to me. Back to doing things the way that makes me happy. Not how others tell me to do it.

I love all of the advice you give and what you stand for when it comes to this shop stuff 😁. I love creating because I’m in food and beverage,however I find it more difficult than other verticals. I love it though so I am going to figure it out.

People say I sound like I’m reading a script and I’ve tried so hard to sound like myself and it’s still not working. I wish I had a friend that is doing this so I can ask questions and learn but I have nobody to talk too, and I just need help. I’m making zero sales and super low views!

Facts! I feel like I’m learning something new everyday. At times it’s frustrating, yet rewarding when you figure it out. For me, that’s what makes me fall In Love with it, learning something new, applying myself , and figuring things out. It’s definitely work, but the process is so much fun. Still a lot of learning to do, but I’m taking in every minute of it.

I’m figuring this out you hit the nail right on the head with this. I’ve been at it for a little over a year and it’s an entire process when I first started. I thought exactly what you said that it’s easy I can do this. There’s not much thought in it, but that’s completely wrong. I agree! I am falling in love with thethe process! I’m constantly thinking of new ideas to create content but if it’s a product I’m not in love with, it makes it harder to get motivated to create it.

I love the process and doing my own thing. I found success but the TT changes are moving more and more to cut us out making it very hard. The add to cart reducing to 24 hours from previous lowered 7 days. that’s hard… most people add when they see and buy on payday. so we gonna lose badly with this one if true.

Wonderful and real video. Nothing about this TTS journey is linear BUT what makes it beautiful is learning more about OURSELVES as a creator based on the analytics and how what we do or say, helps the viewer. I love what I do because, as Nick Fowler alluded to, each video is free advertising and a possible winning lottery ticket. We don't let the stagnancy or $0 days get us down, but we keep making videos, learning what works and doesn't, applying what works for top creators while including what makes US unique , and trusting that the results will reward the consistence.
