I hope your pay is amazing, biggest advice: have a life and plans after work!!!!!!! 4yrs in, I’ve seen co-workers burn out and have almost been there myself. Making evening plans a couple times a week has saved me, even if it’s just a workout :)

Walk on the treadmill for 20-30 minutes everyday after work. It helped me more than anything else. You will do great!! 💕

welcome to the club! advice i just left on another’s post about the same thing: my boss loves the cya method (cover your ass)! document everything even if u think it doesn’t matter. keep your desk and computer organized an inbox should be a todo list not a storage component, use folders! don’t energy max in the morning bc you will be miserable every day after lunch, use the morning to ease in and get personal stuff done like making appts, making grocery lists, to do lists, etc. also lots of free time but use it to ur advantage i get paid to do volunteer activities and cross training other depts!! also girl have fun you’re there 40 hours a week make it worth it not misery🩷 good luck

Good luck! Don’t share any personal info and don’t add coworkers to social media. Do a capsule work wardrobe so that everything goes with everything and you save money. Make your workspace yours. Don’t forget to stand up, walk around, and drink lots of water 🥰

when i started in corporate, i was 22 (im 27 now, so im not all mighty chosen one) but i will tell you the one thing i wish someone told 22 year old me when i began my career: you are doing the absolute best with what is given to you. whether that is an assignment/project at work, fulfilling an everyday task, or problem solving a matter for your team. you are making your effort and trying with the best of your abilities and the materials given to you. it’s going to go allllll good; welcome to corporate america 😫🥹
