Lucas is 18 months old and hasn’t outgrown his rooting reflex - a reflex that is supposed to go away by 6 months. This reflex is still very much present, causing him to drool and struggle with his speech development. His mom kept being told that it was just a phase, but she trusted her instincts and brought Lucas to be evaluated.
