i think since fancy feast and friskies are budget-friendly, they just conflate that with being low quality. i think people need to understand that these foods are more mid-tier than low-tier. have you reviewed the vibrant life cat food at walmart? i’ve heard it’s meant to be similar to fancy feast.

you swayed me into trying fancy feast. I've been feeding science diet but it's so expensive compared to fancy feast and the ingredients aren't bad at all. it's not like bad dry food where corn is the first ingredient.

It's because cheap cat foods dont throw a ton of money at vets to recommend them. They aren't inherently better, they just have a different marketing strategy, looking at you Hills Science Diet

Fancy feast pate is one of the top recommended non prescription foods for diabetic cats. Shaming it may cause a pet parent to not be able to feed their newly diagnosed cat. In case anyone didn't know.

I know you like FF classic pate but not some of the other FF - is it due to ingredients? Is the classic pate with gravy ok? Asking because we are going from a wine house to a Bud Light house in this economy.

My first cat lived for 17 years eating nothing but Fancy Feast. Now my second one eats nothing else she loves all the flavors 😻

I add water to the pate, so it’s almost like a thick stew. My cats love it. It helps with their water intake for the day. And I also noticed that it makes them stay fuller longer. They’re not acting like they’re starving before dinner. 🤦♀️

because people don't know anything about cat nutrition. I'm not a nutritionist, but I spent years researching before getting my first cat. With wet food, very little changes from one brand to another. The real concern is the dry food, which a lot of people don't even feed their cats because they keep thinking it's bad, when it has a higher nutritional value than dry food, so the best would be a combination of them.

my problem is my cat refuses to eat pate. so he gets fancy feast grilled which ik isn’t as good as the pate :’( but we also mix sheba in throughout the week and we’re trying to see how he likes reveal this week

I'm currently alternating between Friskies and Fancy Feast pâté since I'm on a super tight budget. I typically add a bit of water to it and feed my cat half a can alongside her dry kibble, which stretches a 12-pack for 24 days. I have concerns regarding budget-friendly ingredients, but I have to do the best that I can. She's eating better than me, lol! I'm struggling to keep human food in the house, but at least she's eating well, hahaha. I'm like, "Don't mind my grumbling tummy!" Thankfully, I was able to snag some human food items today so we can both eat. phew!

So glad that I've always kept Fancy Feast in the rotation because I have been laid off for months now...he's my first cat and my original intention for a food rotation was to prevent him from becoming picky in case of formula changes, shortages, etc., but it's a life saver now that I'm on a tight budget
