Dormin wasn’t sealed away. The colossi are fragments of Dormin. The game literally tells you to seek the colossi so that dormins true form can be restored. There are no villages or any life in the game because you journeyed to a forbidden land where Dormin was fragmented. At the end the Dormin entity gets sealed again but it kept its promise and revived Mono. The game doesn’t give any explanation about what Dormin is or why Wanders’ tribe fears the entity so much; it is purposely left vague. Enough BS please
