@thekianafrequency: In this video, I spoke about how there are so many things that Black people grew up doing that are rooted in Hoodoo practice, many African-Americans believe that hoodoo is just rootwork or just witchcraft or magic. And I must correct that false narrative today. Hoodoo is a way of life. It’s the way our grandmother always threw some cinnamon in that peach cobbler for warmth. The way we were always made chicken noodle soup whenever we were sick and our grandmother would pray over the pot. It’s the way our mothers would clean the house and then light a candle to seal in the energy. And I know y’all remember the bleach baths. It all came from somewhere hopefully this video educated you a little bit more.
