i’ve been at this job for about a year and a half now and oh man, my first Prime experience was absolute hell. i’m almost positive most people who’ve been through it can say the same. this job truly tests more than just your body, it challenges your mind, your patience, and your spirit every single damn day.
but fortunately for those who stick around, with time, something amazing happens and things start to change. you find your rhythm. the routes become a little less overwhelming, the pressure becomes more manageable, and you start to take pride in what you’re capable of. there is definitely a unique sense of accomplishment that comes from finally sitting down after a long day, knowing you pushed through and got the job done.
for all yall out there in the same boat as her, don’t let other people’s opinions get in your head. if you need help, ask for it. there’s strength in knowing when you need support. just constantly strive to do better and don’t become dependent on it. always approach your day with the mindset to be the kind of person who learns from mistakes, adapts, and grows stronger with each stop.
this job IS NOT for the weak. but if you stick with it, you may discover that you’re stronger than you ever thought you were.
