This sounds more like like someone less enthused by living than someone who just wants peace ! I’m 79 also . I love company, I love my family and friends . I love when they visit( albeit with some warning or plan ). Being involved with them makes me feel “ in tge game “ .. needed! In other words I wouldn’t brag about being alone my friend
