Well we definitely won't ultimately succeed within comfort so might as well go through the suffering in an equanimous non dual way and give it our best shot. What's the worst that can happen? Death? Our soul is eternal and will continue the cycles until we merge back to where we truly came from or we crack out of the "egg" into what we were always meant to become.
