I CAN CONFIRM THIS!!! I worked for TWO DGs! the first one things would fly off shelves directly at customers and the second store things would randomly go wrong from things falls, coming unplugged when no one was around it, and even once I SWEAR I saw someone on camera when the place was closed!!

Lol we have one that’s between two farm fields. I’ve never seen anyone there except employees. I don’t even know who would shop in such a remote place.

The sears that used to be my house that they turned into a Burlington that bathroom was haunted. I have a story about that. I was in the bathroom when it was sears and I was by myself and all of a sudden as I’m going to the bathroom the lights go out.(I just turned them on” so I Just said “you know maybe it’s just a glitch or something” so as I’m sitting in the dark. I start feeling like I’m being watched. Then all of a sudden I hear something dropped next to me in the other bathroom stall and all of a sudden I hear Loud music coming out of that stall only and footsteps mind you I’m by myself in here. So then I tell myself I needa get outta here. So I clean myself real good wash my hands and run out and as soon as I open that door the light turns on and the music turns off. After that I promised myself I will never go into that bathroom by myself at least ever again

The one in my home town is built over an old bar. As far as my experience shopping at any dollar general, I’ve always found the vibe to be a little unsettling. To quite, to empty, the sense to get what’s needed and get out. Like I’m not welcome to stay longer than necessary.

After a while you get used to it.. there’s a girl and a mom in ours who are very playful.. sometimes too playful but I kinda think as long as I let em be and they have enjoyment in their time it’s cool.
