I repalced mine ( screen protector )from fold 6 ,it is easier than you think, fully recomend. Used Ringke brand

OK SO HERES THE THING my phone is a zflip 6 and it used to sound JUST LIKE THIS, super crunchy opening and closing it. I kinda just assumed it was normal for these phones and ignored it, IT IS NOT NORMAL. Later my phone blackscreened out of nowhere and I took it in for repair, I can't remember what exacrly it was called but basically it turns out one of the display plugs wasn't plugged in correctly, and the crunching sound was the result of it. Ever since it was fixed theres no sound it is completely silent. SO TAKE MY WORD OF ADVICE, TAKE YOUR PHONE TO A REPAIR PLACE AS SOOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE IT SHOULD NOT BE MAKING A NOISE.

I have the exact same noise, after a year as well. It works so perfect tho! I have also dropped it a few times and have been very surprised by its durability - my iPhone would of cracked so bad

a mi se me cayo el mio apenas hace unos dias y siento que se aflojo un poco, se abre más fácil y se cierra más fácil pero no se si deba preocuparme mucho o no porque no hay mucho movimiento, solo es mas flojito al abrir y cerrar😭

I had the same problem about a year ago with my flip 6. It turns out that the sound is from the screen protector no longer sticking to the screen, so when you open it you hear a sound like that, like a velcro strap being pulled off. So I went to Samsung service and replaced the screen protector with a new one, then the problem solved. I guess if you feel there is something wrong with your flip, you can check it immediately because flip phones are very fragile phones, especially the Samsung one.

I just brought mine in to check to see if the noise was anything to worry about, they replaced the screen and hinge. No more noise!

I've dropped my Flip 7 everywhere, including outside with no case, and it's still fine. It's got a few scuffs now, as expected, especially without a case. The amount of times it's flown through the air 😭😂
