“the feminist movement isn’t for me, I like men” = “I like having men oppressing my gender because I’m a pick me” if you’re not a feminist, you’re simply sexist. you may not agree with everything about modern feminism but the core idea is giving rights to women. if you see no problem with patriarchy, you are the problem. “i’m not a feminist, i just want equality” those are the same thing. women as a group have been oppressed for simply being women and they’re still being oppressed to this day. some women still don’t have voting rights, education rights, marriage rights, abortion rights, and so on in some countries. women in afghanistan aren’t allowed to speak up outside of their home. even in western countries, rape and SA is common to this day. men see women’s bodies as sexual even when she’s breastfeeding a child, even when she’s pregnant, even when she’s a literal minor. yall focus more on black people making up 13-14% of the U.S population but committing 54-56% of known homocide and 26-27% of arrests over all, but 80-90% of the homocide offenders are men. “but men’s mental health month!!!” 70-80% of homocide victims are men. even men themselves don’t care about their own gender. they only care about heterosexual, right wing, white men. i would recommend educating yourselves on this topic. don’t stay quiet about it. #fyp #ezramiller #feminism #viral #misogyny
