True story: 20 years ago the forecast was very hard rain during my sister’s wedding. But we sent a prayer request to the contemplative order of St. Clair monastery via a family member to make the rain stop for the wedding. The family member made a mistake of writing on the request to make the rain stop at 4 pm (wedding was at 5 pm) when what we actually wanted was no rain for the whole day. At 3:30 pm it was still raining SO hard and we got anxious. Lo and behold the rain really stopped at 4 pm!!! I was only 14 years old back then, but I never forget that day! The power of nuns’ prayers! 🙏💖🌸

Someone did this for my family when my mom had a brain tumor when I was 12. I’m not catholic but I remember feeling a bit of calm in a crazy time when they told us they did that.
