Same thing happened to me in Charlotte for an inter Miami game. However, I caught it before hand and spend 3 days on the phone with them to get it resolved and the best they could do was give me terrible seats up top when I paid for lower level seats. I refuse to ever use stubhub again after that incident.

stub hub did that to me too for a giants game...I raised hell on the phone and they gave me a front row seat at the game bc i guess the season ticket holder wasnt going that day. I will never buy from stubhub again

just had this problem with stub hub. bought tickets, tickets we're found once we were at the show. spent a shit ton of money on this specific trip for this specific show for a birthday and werent able to go. best they could do was refund the tickets, couldn't even get a different showing, and couldn't do anything about gas and hotel we had to book to stay there. 💔
