My Christian aunt was the most generous, energetic, curious, intelligent, adventurous person I knew. A very worldly person who had been thru SO much shit. I am not a Christian or religious in any way. She never forced her faith on me. But she made me appreciate Easter more. She was my favorite person in the world. So inspiring, a badass, strong woman! also a Sagittarius. I’ll leave it at that.

This may be true but it's more complex to say that. We do had a different kinds of coping mechanisms, some of them aren't healthy. Praying are coping mechanism but even when we don't had a problem we still do that. Hobbies are also a good coping methods especially if you're passionate about it. We can't say that sports are coping mechanism at all. I may not a sporty person but I totally appreciate their efforts. Oh I forgot meditating also yeah about that it's not about to soothe their emotions. They meditate even when they're bored or they really love to meditate that's all.

I went from being an atheist to an agnostic, and in the end I always came back to religion because it offers a very beautiful perspective on life. Studying materialism was something that affected me deeply and, to be honest, I shouldn’t have studied it but at least in religion, everyone has value.
