My dad fell off a ladder in our yard (very short distance) but I was on the couch and thought I heard a noise, but didn’t go check 😭 he came inside and like this 🧍🏽♂️and goes “I fell”

As a roofer I have to say this. Never use a step ladder to get on the roof. Always an extension ladder that has at least 3-4 rungs above the edge. Other than that, great parenting the parent. 😁

I know it’s hard but please enjoy these moments like this with your dad, my dad is 79 and he’s lost most mobility and I miss doing things like this with him. It’s funny they turn into these grumpy toddlers that need our help but don’t really want it ❤️
