@ellspassport_: this island is just 20 mins from Hoi An by speed boat & it’s beyond beautiful 🏝️🇻🇳 📍Cham Island How to get there? • from Da Nang: 45-1 hour minute grab to Cua Dai Port • from Hoi An: 15-20 minute grab to Cua Dai Port from the city centre of Hoi An • Get there by 7:30-45am to get on one of the first 8am speed boats! If you want there’s the option for a slower ferry, it takes 50 mins and leaves around 7:30 then they leave every hour or so after that. You can pre book but we booked on arrival, 600k VND ($32aud) per person for the return boat. It comes back in between 12:30-1:30pm depending on the wind that day. Things to note: • it’s CASH ONLY! Do not rock up expecting to be able to pay for things by card. • they may try tell you that all boats are fully booked and to get on their 9am boat, but walk around and speak to all of them, someone will have spots for the 8am slot. • you can hire a scooter (HIGHLY recommend this) to drive around the island which we did in around 3 hours stopping at 3-4 beaches. You can walk to some but you won’t get the full experience without a scooter. It cost us 200k VND ($10aud) to hire the scooter for 3.5 hours. • one half of the island has a lot of restaurants, etc, but the other side doesn’t so make sure you have enough water for when you drive all around! #worldtravel #vietnam #hoian #danang #chamisland
