I mean he's right though? 😭 💔 You shouldn't be setting yourself up for spending habits like this. Money is hard to earn but easy to spend, and It would be more detrimental if he encouraged you instead. That's how a lot of people later in life get into credit card debt. And 1,000 in just two week is a very large amount even if you don't think so

That’s an insane amount to spend on clothes and anything non essential. He’s trying to teach you possibly the most valuable lesson of your life and you’re not listening to him. Please listen. He’s not being mean to you he’s trying to help you understand how expensive it is to live in this world. I know it’s your own money you earned but it’s painful for him to sit there and watch you waste it when he knows on a few years you could be seriously struggling. Please take time to look over your income and dedicate a good amount to savings and give yourself budgets weekly or monthly to spend on clothes and fun stuff
