Avoidants aren’t avoiding you they are avoiding themselves. Once you understand that you start to realise your own worth. Fear is a nasty emotion and shame is even worse. My fearful avoidant is in so much pain I’ve never seen anything like but he was incredibly vulnerable with me let me even apologised during a shutdown names his states when he can and pushed and pulled for months. It’s been incredibly hard but he’s on my snap doing nothing frozen so I guess sometimes you have to look at the lens of someone else pain obviously stand strong in your own boundaries but someone who’s is disconnected from their own emotions will always struggle to hold yours x
