06/23: I was one of those viewers who watched every episode the moment it was released. Every midnight before sleeping, I looked forward to the next episode. That's how invested I was.
I only decided to leave a review now because... what happened to the ending? 😵
Starting from the last few episodes, there were way too many long pauses, staring contests, frozen moments, and background music. It felt like the dialogue disappeared. Every new episode ended without really moving the story forward.
I understand they wanted to show Andini's obsession over and over, but the final 10 episodes should have focused on resolving the story. It didn't have to be a happy ending—it just needed to be satisfying. Instead, the finale felt like another middle episode, not the conclusion of a 60-episode series.
We never got to see Riska finally enjoy the peaceful life she deserved after all her sacrifices. We could've had Dila calling Adimas "Daddy" again, a proper family reunion, or even Andini being admitted to a mental hospital. If the message was that Andini never changed, that's fine—but you had 60 episodes to give viewers a memorable ending.
The biggest disappointment wasn't the acting—it was the writing.
The cast was phenomenal. Riska was inspiring as a mother, wife, daughter, friend, CEO, and a woman with dignity. Adimas nailed the role of a cheating husband consumed by guilt, and his memory-loss performance was 1M/10. Andini made us hate her actions while still making us pity how lonely and obsessed she became.
Every actor even the supporting ones delivered.
The acting deserves a standing ovation. The ending deserved a rewrite.
After 60 episodes, viewers earned a finale that was unforgettable—not one that left us asking, "Is that really it?" 🤷♀️💔
