I remember the time I was a SAHM with 2 toddlers and my landlord came to me saying it all looked ok but they noticed some toys on the lounge floor and did they normally live there 💀 like wtf am I paying you for if my kids can't play in their own living area

This is literally what used to happen at my inspections. Once my partner did a night shift, waited until 11am when the inspection was organised for 8am then the property manager complained for two hours cleaned our shower and fucked off

I rented from one of the worst real estates they were called findahome they racially profiled me gave me viewings of the worst damp houses covered in black mould and laughed at me when I called them out on it then the proof was in the wall paper and when things went wrong like the water cylinder blew up they told me that my kids and I would have to shower with no hot water! And had to wait 2 weeks for a new cylinder. I one up’d them and rang the owner he paid for my family and I to stay at a motel and had a water cylinder in two days. Then my mum died and I had inspection and they gave me a warning because I had a washing basket of clean clothes on the couch! They were a fucking joke and nightmare
