Holes in 3d prints won’t help reduce weight bro, it’s actually doing the opposite. 3d printed parts are usually almost hollow inside, the weight and strength are mostly from the walls. Adding holes is actually adding more walls which is more weight, probably stronger, but a lot longer print time.

Those holes are likely increasing the weight, not decreasing. You’re adding more material because each hole will have multiple walls around it instead of the sparse infill you’d have otherwise. Adding holes only reduces weight when the object is solid, but 3d printed parts are usually hollow so it doesn’t work

I could be wrong but the holes most likely added weight as instead of lightweight infill your adding alot of walls.
