R E S I G N A T I O N Lately, we’ve witnessed many teachers choosing to resign. And it breaks my heart because I know that for many of them, they didn’t leave because they stopped loving teaching or because they stopped loving their learners. They left because they became tired. They were overwhelmed. They carried so much for so long that the weight became too much to bear. Teaching has never been just a profession—it is a calling. But even those who answer that calling deserve to be heard, supported, and cared for. There is something so special about finding people at work who become your safe place. We may have started as colleagues, but somewhere between lesson plans, classroom chaos, deadlines, observations, paperwork, laughter in the faculty room, and silent moments of exhaustion, we became friends. The kind of friends who celebrate each other’s victories, cry over disappointments, share burdens without judgment, and remind each other to keep going when teaching feels heavier than usual. To my dear colleagues, thank you. Thank you for being my constant through every high and low of this teaching journey. Thank you for every encouraging word, every shared laugh after a long day, every helping hand, every prayer, every “kaya pa natin,” and every reminder that I am never alone. No matter where this profession takes us, I will always treasure the friendships built inside these classroom walls. You are one of the greatest blessings this journey has given me. To those who chose to leave, may you find the peace, healing, and fulfillment you deserve. To those who continue to stay, may we never lose the heart that brought us here in the first place—and may we continue to lean on one another until brighter days come. Because sometimes, the greatest lesson teaching gives us is not found in the curriculum, but in the people who stand beside us through it all. ❤️ #TeacherEujan #TeachersOfTiktok #Kindergarten #Deped #Preschool
