Chilli Cheese Garlic Bread Toasties I'm not quite sure why I never thought about turning garlic bread into toasties, because it's the BEST thing! This is one of those minimal effort, super comforting Friday night dinners that you will never, ever regret making! If you don't want to use tinned chilli, you can use homemade leftovers (or bolognese) as you don't need a massive amount. I oven baked these and it worked really well, but next time I'm definitely doing them in the airfryer! I really hope you enjoy making these as much as I did - I've written up the recipe for them below. Let me know what other fillings you reckon would work well in a garlic bread toastie! A x Makes 4 toasties 400g tin of beef chilli con carne a packet of garlic bread slices 100g grated cheddar cheese Heat the oven to 200C Place 4 of the sliced garlic bread pieces on a lined baking tray - garlic side up. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes or until nearly cooked. Flip them over so they're garlic side down. Heat through the chilli in a pan on the hob. Place a couple of dessert spoons of the chilli onto the garlic bread. Spread it evenly and top with grated cheese. Place 4 more garlic bread slices on top (garlic side up) and bake in the oven for 5-10 minutes or until the garlic bread is as crispy and golden as you like it! #DinnerIdeas #WeekendVibes #sotasty #easydinner #toastie #comfortfood #recipes #dinnertonight #flavour #quickdinner #delicious #freezerfood #girldinner
