Start (15/0/0/0), 15->8 and 4 (3/8/0/4), 8->7 (3/1/7/4), add 4 to 8 (3/5/7/0), empty 7 to 15 (10/5/0/0), then 8 to 7 (10/0/5/0), fill 8, then 4 from 15 (0/8/5/2), move 5L from 7 jug to 15 jug (5/8/0/2), fill the 7 from 8 (5/1/7/2), fill up 4 from 7 (5/1/5/4), add the 4 to 8 (5/5/5/0)

easyrider5_5 :
fill 8 and 4 from 15, leaves 3 in 15.
fill 7 from 8, leaves 1 in 8
pour 4 into 8, now have 5L in 8.
fill four from 7, now 3 in 7 and 3 in 15
split 4 by pouring half into 7 by pouring until the bottom corner and spout are level(1/2 of 4). Pouring remaining into 15.
Now 15, 8, and 7 all have 5 using only the given measures and logic.
Fill 8 to full then poor into 7, 1 remaining. Fill 4 add to 8 give 5. Take remaining in 15 (which is 7) and fill 7 and 4, so 15 is now empty. Put the 5 from 8 to the 15 and rest is easy

fill 8L jar from 15L jar
fill 7L jar from 8L jar leaving
8L jar only 1 liter water
fill 4L jar then add to the remaining 1 liter at the 8L jar
making 5 liters.
Repeat once to measure another 5 and remaining is 5 thereby attaining the goal of splitting it into 3 equal parts of 5 liters each. The jars are to be used to measure, not to store the water.
