Every time I post a picture of the bowls I eat I get so many dms asking for the recipe! When I started spending an hour on Sundays prepping all of my ingredients for the week, my diet and digestion got soooo much better. PLUS, once you have everything prepped ahead of time, your daily lunches/dinners will actually take less than a minute to build! Here’s what I personally prep 👩‍🍳 🍚 1 carb base - I personally love quinoa, but you could do rice or other grains! 🥕 3-4 roasted veggies - I love squash, zucchini, brussel sprouts, carrots or peppers (toss in olive oil, salt, pepper, and put in 350° oven for 45 min OR sauté on stove) 🍅 1-2 fresh cold veggies - STILL pre-cut them and prep them in Sunday! I typically do tomato and cucumber. The cold veggies add great texture if your base and protein are warmed up! 🍗1-3 different types/flavors of protein - I like chicken thighs or chicken tenderloin! I use the air fryer (400° for 22 min flipping the chicken half way) or I do it on the stove! I find oven chicken gets dry throughout the week quicker! I typically do part of my chicken with taco seasoning, part with garlic and part with Italian seasoning! This helps give your daily bowls a different vibe so you don’t get bored! 🥑 And then I love to keep pickled red onions on hand & I get individually packaged guacamole from Costco because when I make guac usually myself it does not last all week! Think - How can I make my own chipotle bar full of ready-to-eat ingredients??? Seriously, taking ONE HOUR on Sundays to do this will set your whole week up for success 🤍 Good luck!!!!
