If messi took as many shots as ronaldo hw would have ~1180 goals. If ronaldo took as many shots as messi je would have ~750 goals. Messi wouldve had 430 more goals than ronaldo🤣 the goat debate would be non existent

The reason Messi fans use goal ratio is because they have come to realization that Messi will never surpass Ronaldo on goals. History will remember the top scorer not who had the best goal ratio because if that was the case Pele, Bican, Muller, Puskás all have a better goal ratio than Messi but you won’t talk about that.

Nice Elks!!!!! This is exactly how you debunk the goal ratio in La Liga from 2009-2018 argument. Mins per goal overrules goal ratio. Mins per goal is accurate down to the minute while goal ratio is only accurate to 90+ minutes. And Messi wins.
