Yep. Sadly every birthday, holiday, Christmas is tainted with that reminder. It’s crap. But you get used to it. I always remind myself it’s actually a super small inconvenience in grand scheme of things, as you’ve still got so much, your health, little one’s, little ones health etc.. so much to be grateful for I try and push the “it’s not perfect though” aside and just keep moving on. You never know what might happen down the line and how your life might change. Try not to get too caught up in what ifs xx

It’s definitely hard at the beginning especially the first Christmas but I’m 11 years on from becoming a solo parent and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. The adventures my children and I have had and are still having are honestly the best. We are a team as well as a family. ❤️

Grief, that we didn’t expect - or want. But once you’ve gone through the grief my god the other side is amazing. I’ve recently got married after a very long time in your shoes. The fairytale is still there, it’s just a differnt path through the woods. Xxx

I’m going through this for the second time. Sometimes I forget I did it the first time and me and my daughter had the best memories just us two, then I met my toddlers dad and we split after 10 years nearly. So it’s sad it’s happened again but it gives me hope that things might work out better . ❤️
