Yesterday was a wonderful Father’s Day. I believe everyone had a beautiful time with their loved ones. Stay blessed always, my dear ones. Fathers are superheroes to their children. My dad was my hero, and I always admired and tried to follow his good qualities. He was a very brave man with a kind heart. Many years ago, a young girl went missing after being taken to a place where she was held against her will by using substance ( I couldn’t write here ) It was a very difficult situation, and no one knew where she was except some. My father stepped in and worked tirelessly through discussions and negotiations to help bring her home safely. It was not an easy task, but he never gave up. They agreed send the girl with my father because they knew what my father will do if they refuse . Old timers in Puchong knew him very well. At my father’s funeral two years ago, I saw a woman standing near his coffin, crying. She kept saying, “You saved me.” I was confused and asked my aunt why she was saying that. That was when my mother and aunt told me the full story. The young girl my father had helped all those years ago was standing there, paying her respects to the man who had changed her life. Today, she is older than me. This story reminds us how important it is to be careful and stay safe. Trust should never be given blindly, and we should always let our loved ones know where we are and who we are with. My father may no longer be with us, but his courage, compassion, and willingness to help others continue to inspire me every day.
