9 months ago I made a decision to leave football and let the dream die, each day after that decision has been hell. I once was a grood football player and believed that one day I’d make it pro till a certain time had arrived where I lost someone I was close with which affected me a lot to a point where I had to take a break from everything and focus on my mental state and my education that was slowly tumbling . After a while of maybe 2-4 months I tried returning to football but the spark of playing the game wasn’t the same anymore. At first i thought it was because I wasn’t fit enough since I had taken a break from playing. My friends around me where making it steps closer to their career where they would play for GDL under big clubs. My dream is to play for kaizer chiefs. I tried returning but I wasn’t the same anymore and made the decision of leaving it for good, negative comments were made of how washe and unhealthy I have become, playing outside the official fields . Today Im photographer that only stands at the side of the field that I wished I could dance in but i only take pictures of moments i too wished I could live. The same players i used to play with are making it in football, and that hurts me a lot every time seeing them in the field I imagine myself being there. The urge of returning and trying again becomes strong, so im taking this chance to work on myself and get healthy and fit and make a great comeback. I believe God shall be with me in every step I take. And I blame no one I guess it’s a journey I had to take.#fyp #teenagdreams
