We cannot DEMAND tips from customers. It’s not their fault that we’re poorly compensated. 🤷🏻‍♂️ TBH, I also can’t 100% blame the company. At the end of the day, they’re a business, not a charity. If they can reduce costs and increase profits, of course they’re going to do it. But here’s where I think the real problem is: Who is protecting the riders? If companies keep cutting rider pay, eventually local riders will be replaced by cheaper foreign labour. And honestly, I feel the government needs to take more responsibility here. It’s the government’s job to make sure private companies don’t have unlimited power to squeeze workers just because they can. And if Temasek Holdings is funding or investing in these companies… GG Singaporean riders. 💀🇸🇬 Just my 2 cents. What do you guys think?
