Meet the new Clay Ambassador 🤩✨ Hi! I’m Monika, the maker behind Moncale, a small handmade polymer clay jewelry brand based in Austria. I love exploring different techniques with polymer clay — from mixing colors and creating patterns to transforming simple slabs into lightweight earrings meant to be worn every day. My process is very hands-on and experimental. I enjoy testing textures, building patterns, and combining shapes until everything comes together in a design that feels just right. In my work you’ll often see playful stripes, tile-like patterns, organic textures and faux stone effects — each pair slightly different and made step by step in my small studio. Here are 3 reasons why I love working with polymer clay: 1️⃣ Because experimenting with colors and patterns always brings unexpected results. Every slab becomes a little creative surprise. 2️⃣ Because polymer clay allows endless techniques — from transfer papers and textures to faux stone and layered patterns. 3️⃣ Because it turns into lightweight jewelry that is comfortable to wear and made to be part of everyday life.
