@touroneplanet: Raïssa is a daughter of Amboasary and is proud of her roots here. That’s why it was such a big deal for her to make sure that Festival Mandrare took place this year. I tried to get her to do an interview, but instead, she took the microphone and interviewed the local people in a village just outside the city. For her, this festival was never about promoting herself, but rather about promoting and uplifting the community she came from.
