so heeseung just ruined a 6 year foundation when he could have just waited less than 2 years and enhypen could have had a proper departure. if 6/7 members could wait, be paitent and stick together as a team and brothers im not giving any grace whatsoever to the ONE member who strayed from that pact. imagine building something from scratch for 6 years and being jay, jake, sunghoon, sunoo, jungwon and Niki and being told ''nah im going on my own''. I love heeseung but im going to struggle with his decision for awhile.

Ngl this whole Evan thing sucks but realistically if he should’ve seen they clearly don’t care for his solos. A solo career was not going to fix that 😭 I don’t know much about the group but by the way it’s looking idk if it would’ve been a better idea to just stay. All the best wishes to both tho !

That’s weird af. There is NOTHING wrong with doing group AND solo activities. And who tf are they to say he shouldn’t have debuted? Many people debut in groups to eventually go solo! Thats not even exclusive to kpop. They need to leave him alone.

OT7, go head. but don't push ot6 to support the one who left. we have no responsibility to support the one who left, only a year before contract end - and leave members to pick up his parts by working twice as hard. I respect his needs to make music, his dance and voice are amazing, but I won't be forced to support him as a solo.

people seriously need to leave heeseung alone and stop criticizing him for wanting to make music. at the end of the day there are a lot of idols who genuinely enjoy making music and want to create their own just like him and he shouldn’t be criticized or hated on for having his own ambitions and dreams. it’s clear he didn’t want to leave enhypen but during that 2 year postponement he realized he could never have both and had to make a difficult decision that no one should have to make but get hated on for it is so unnecessary and rude especially knowing he probably feels horrible about it already.

A lot of people keep asking why he can't also be in Enhypen and still do solo stuff as if that proves he was forced out...It's really simple y'all. He just didn't want to do that. He don't have to do what most others do. And imagine how completely exhausting that would be when Enhypen gets overworked on their own

I'm sorry but isn't their contract ending this year anyways? He could have waited and it would've been more acceptable for their fans (I've been seeing engenes expecting them to disband anyways)

So that basically means the members can't do anything? If someone isn't allowed to do solo activities outside the group, then what are the members supposed to do during military enlistments? For example, Ni-ki won't be going to the military. Is he supposed to just sit around for years waiting for everyone else to come back so they can continue group activities? At this point, I don't understand how this works. Most idols eventually want to do solo activities, release their own music, or produce their own songs. If they can't do any of that while still being in the group, then military service could seriously affect the group's future. Also, did they read the contract before signing it? Was this restriction clearly written in there, or was it hidden somewhere? Because I've been a K-pop fan for years, and I've never heard of an idol being completely unable to do solo activities just because they're in a group. It genuinely doesn't make sense to me.
