Here’s all the info ⬇️ Did you spot our tents?? Camp here overnight to have the entire canyon all to yourself! 🥹🏜️ Follow @drivingyounomad for more travel inspo! LOCATION 🇰🇬 Fairytale Canyon, also known as Skazka, is located on the most southern part of lake Issyk-Kul (roughly 1,5 hours outside the nearest city Karakol, or about 4.5 hours from the capital Bishkek). BRING YOUR TENT 🏕️  We stayed overnight inside the canyon and I can’tttt recommend it enough! There’s a campsite near the beach by the lake (so you could stay there), but I would recommend just pitching your tent on a flat spot inside the canyon itself (yes, it’s allowed). There was literally no one around (we only saw a group of 4 other people camping far away) so in the evening and early morning, you get the canyon all to yourself! IT’S MAGICAL HOW TO GET THERE 🗺️ Getting to Skazka Canyon is pretty straightforward. Only a short dirt track leads to the parking area (or walk 40 mins from the main road where mashrutka’s drop you off to the entrance of the Canyon)   COST 💸 The entry price is around 50 Som (less than 50 cents). WHEN TO VISIT 🌄 Best time to explore is early in the morning or late afternoon, when the light makes the canyon truly magical (and it’ll be less hot during those times) Also... bring enough water & sun protection!! and your tent hehe 📍 Fairytale Canyon (Skazka Canyon), Kyrgyzstan All drone shots are from Pierre! @thepilotwhoexplores
