You are absolutely right. Perhaps I am ungrateful for not focusing on the things Jesus has delivered me from. But I ask myself, why am I like this? Why do I fail to remember the Lord’s deliverance, and instead focus entirely on the 'pain and bitterness' I am enduring? Why does my mouth speak forgiveness, yet my heart harbors bitterness whenever I see them? Perhaps my forgiveness is fake? But truly, in my heart, I think that amidst the bitterness and pain, I still remember my Lord. Both coexist at the very same time—'bitterness' and 'gratitude.' I hate my current circumstances, I hate this world. I still wish them peace and treat them with kindness, but I distance myself completely and fail to reflect the love that God has shown me. I don’t even know what is right anymore; my mind is completely tangled. I will try to pray to God tonight and get the answer. Shalom
