This is the moment a group of masked men drag a 21-year-old man from his home, bundle him into the back of a car, then take him to storage unit to torture him. The newly released footage shows a black Audi A4 pulling up at a property in Arleston, Telford, around 2.18pm on 29 December, before three men dressed head-to-toe in black, rush inside, drag him out, and force him into the boot. A person from the house comes to his rescue but is shoved to the ground before the car takes off. Further footage shows the Audi being driven through Wellington, Shropshire, with the boot still open and the victim’s feet hanging out. A court was told the victim was driven across Telford before being locked in a storage unit in Eyton, where he was tortured. CCTV also captured the moment the car arrives there, and the man is dragged inside. The Sun reported that the man was kidnapped for speaking to a female member of one of his attacker’s family. Last week, Haider Ali, 22, of Wellington, Shropshire, was found guilty of kidnap following a trial at Shrewsbury Crown Court. Four other men - Jawad Hussain, 20, Ehteshan Hussain, 22, Faheem Chohan, 23, and Shayyan Hussain, 24 - had already admitted their roles in the kidnapping. Prosecutors said the victim was violently tortured at the storage unit. Ali arrived at the unit about 20 minutes after the victim was taken there, the court heard and remained there for about 10 minutes before leaving. The victim was left tied to a chair and locked inside. Detectives later traced the cars involved to Ali, and at 7.11pm, while he was being held in custody, a video was sent to his phone, showing the victim being tortured. Following Ali’s arrest, the other four men returned to the storage unit and moved the victim. But, as they drove towards Shropshire, he managed to escape. Police were later called by a takeaway in Whitchurch about a badly man injured man who had fled a kidnapping. The man later told police he escaped by locking the car doors when two of his kidnappers got out - then drove away. All five defendants will be sentenced later. Detective Chief Inspector Lee Holeshouse, from the force’s Major Investigations Unit, said: “This was a shocking and deeply disturbing attack in which a young man was kidnapped in broad daylight, subjected to a sustained and brutal assault, and held against his will.
